Nacho Grez

Nacho Grez

Born in Santiago, Chile, Nacho Grez has spent most of his years in remote locations around the world such as Patagonia, Wyoming and Alaska photographing the essence of outdoor adventure action sports, active lifestyle, outdoor assignments, and commercial photography.
I like to tell a story through a photo, in the same way that a film director work with his script and camera, capturing images of nature and people as they interact with the outdoor landscape.

His work has been part of national and international publications including La Sportiva, Rossignol, Julbo, Escape Magazine, National Outdoor Leadership School, Ski Alper, Escalando, Autrans Tourism Office (France), Spirit Outdoor Magazine, and working with world top Athletes on ski mountaineering as well. When not shooting, Nacho’s enjoying back-country skiing, climbing, fly fishing or just getting away of loud environments to re-connect with nature. Based at Villard de Lans, France, he is ready to take your photography challenge, and leave for new assignments and adventures around the glove.

Thomas Vigliano

Thomas Vigliano

As a child, I discovered photography with my father, who had installed a small darkroom at home … I explored various aspects of photography, rediscovering the art through the digital SLR a few years ago, reigniting my imagination through the possibilities of digital photography.
I aim to capture moments of life, portraits, and travel as opportunities arise.
I used to practice a lot of sports (especially triathlon) but I have gradually shifted my focus to photography.

Georges Gratier de Saint Louis

Georges Gratier de Saint Louis

I would describe myself as an eclectic photographer, because I have the chance to travel a lot and live in the far corners of the world.
Landscape, wildlife, portraits, sports, shows, weddings, have helped me not to get stuck in a single style.
For me the picture is a way of sharing a corner of the world, sharing an emotion, sharing an experience.
The report on UT4M and reconciles these different facets of Photography: Landscape, portrait, emotion.

Georges Martinez-Valentin

Georges Martinez-Valentin

After falling into a tray of developer at Club photo du Lycée des Eaux Claires Grenoble, much as Spiderman & web slinging, Georges couldn’t free himself from the addiction of photography.
From the darkroom to the tops of the Grenoble Mountains, and sometimes the deep canyons of the Sierra de Guara; the picture remains the way to record both time and emotions.
Ut4M is a beautiful playground where champions can discover fierce altitude challenges; and lovers of the mountain may express their exploits.
Present at the edition 2016 and 2017.

Laurent Dubois

Laurent Dubois

58 years, enthusiast and mountaineering since the age of 14.
This passion for the mountains has never left me and that’s why I left my hometown, Paris in 1995 to settle in the Gresivaudan valley (with no regrets).

For 22 years I have snaked the trails of the Alps, walking, running, morning, evening, weekend….
I have volunteered as a Ut4M photographer since 2016 to combine my two passions – Photos and running – 100,000 pictures! !! 100000 km

Sunrises and sunsets, landscapes and mountain animals are my hobbies!
I discovered photography on my first hikes during my adolescence using 24×36 slides.
I explored video for a few years but returned to the photograph with my first SLR Chinon CE4.
On reaching my 40th I purchased a Nikon Coolpix 950 with no less than 2 Megapixels.
A beautiful toy to start with digital. Finally the reflex enclosure, but happiness!!!

The old goat is my nickname !!!

Bruno Lavit

Bruno Lavit

Photographic enthusiast for nearly 20 years, I bought my first full frame reflex (Nikon D700) in 2010 and started to practice a little more seriously.
My favorite area is the mountain photography, specifically Chartreuse because I live in Saint Hilaire Du Touvet.
I’m also passionate about concert photography (Rencontres Brel), ultra trails (Grand Duke and UT4M) and Urbex (Urban Exploration former sanatoriums of Saint Hilaire).

Yves Gaigé

Yves Gaigé

Yves fell into photography in the age of Polaroid and Agfmatic, and practiced a few years film before leaving the old camera to Madame with the arrival of children and the transition to digital.
The HP photo club has given me the opportunity to get back into photography, and explore new areas, re-discovering techniques and skills once forgotten.
I generally shoot landscapes and animals, leaving portraits to family reunions.
Ut4M 2016 was the opportunity to discover the mountains around Grenoble, and was a great experience both human and photographic. I’m back for 2017 with the camera, and hope to run them one day with a bib on my back.

Bernadette Gaigé

Bernadette Gaigé

My great-grandfather took photos on glass plate. My grandfather and my father were also photographers and called upon their children for endless portrait sessions. Quite naturally I picked up on photography, first with film and now digital.
I love to shoot children, flowers and the landscapes encountered both in our beautiful region but also on vacation. Everything is an opportunity for pictures.

Bernadette Gaigé
In recent years, thanks to HP camera club I grew gradually in shooting and processing of my photos.

In 2016, I decided to accompany my husband, Yves on the UT4M photography adventure. Initially, I thought that I would accompany him and he would take the photos. But before long I had taken to the game, and I too started to take and share photos. Conquered by the beautiful scenery, the atmosphere of this race provides great encounters; and, I am ready to go for adventure in 2017.

Thanks must go to my dad for lending me your Agfamatic when I was 10 years old; leading to a beautiful memory of severed heads (ah referred parallax). Enthusiast for mountain landscapes and portraits, I acquired a Canon AE1 for my 18’th birthday then changed (after 2 hardware theft) to Nikon and Minolta. Now I’ve landed with Sony.
I added wildlife photography, travel, macro and more recently (2015 and 2016) to the sports photo Ut4M the range of what I like to make pictures.

Present on Ut4M 2015 and 2016.

Sunday photographer for 25 years, then Monday, Tuesday ….
The left eye sees in 360 and the right in 24 × 36, I never leave home without my camera.
My eyes are for humanist photography, and frequently in black and white. I love all the technical and artistic approaches as long as my camera is a sharing instrument.
So naturally I just jump into the professional adventure.
Every year for 3 years, I watch from afar the great human adventure of UT4M, as both runners, the organization of all those people who give their time without counting and passionately.
